NKBA Renovation Angel Luxury Kitchen Recycling Awards (LKRA) 2021 is officially open for submissions! Last year the kitchen design and home renovation industry experienced the launch of the first ever LKRA at KBIS 2020 in Las Vegas. The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) and Renovation Angel will announce the next LKRA award winners in February 2021 on the KBIS NeXT stage in Orlando, Florida. All entries must be received by 11:59PM PST Friday, November 20, 2020 in order to be considered.
The Little Details
The awards competition is free to enter and open to all kitchen designers, architects, contractors, interior designers and other industry professionals making sustainable renovation practices a part of their toolkit. Industry professionals can submit projects where at least 50% of the existing materials were recycled or donated, and projects must have been completed between January 1, 2018, and November 20, 2020.

George Oliphant of NBC’s Emmy award-winning show, George to the Rescue, will once again serve as emcee and head judge, along with several other top industry professionals.
This year the NKBA and Renovation Angel are also happy to announce a new judge: Sarah Robertson, award winning designer and owner of Studio Dearborn in Mamaroneck, NY.
Sarah Robertson’s industry accolades include back to back wins in 2019-2020 for Best Overall Kitchen Design in the NKBA National Design Awards, KBDN’s Top 50 Innovators, 2X TIDA International Design winner, 2 KBDN National design awards, 2 C&G Innovation Awards and numerous regional awards.
She has been 7-times “Best of Houzz” with 500k status. Featured in House Beautiful, Washington Post, Apartment Therapy, Luxe, BHG, and HGTV Magazine among others, Robertson also has an active blog and a loyal social media following.
KBIS Orlando 2021
In 2021 the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) will hold the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in sunny Orlando, Florida from February 9th to the 11th of 2021.
As one of the largest expos of its kind in the world, KBIS has become a staple for many designers, architects, manufacturers, and homeowners. Every year thousands of people attend to witness the latest innovations and celebrate professionals who are making a positive impact on the industry at large.
