One of our Renovation Angel Industry Advocates, Bilotta Kitchens, partnered with Traditional Home for their 7th Annual “Art of the Table” event in New York City. The event is a lovely way for individual designers to showcase their talent by decorating small vignettes within the Bilotta Kitchens showroom at the famous A&D Building. Our very own Lara Richmond was there to support our Industry Partners and speak about our luxury kitchen recycling mission.
Art of the Table
Replacements, Ltd., founded in 1981, is one of the largest purveyors of vintage tableware in the United States. Replacements is the perfect place to start when creating a one-of-a-kind look, because they offer more than 11 million pieces of vintage and current dinnerware, crystal, silver and collectibles. Many of which you won’t find anywhere else!
Each designer for this event started their creative journey utilizing the Replacements wares. Read on to view several snapshots from the day.
Tuscan Garden Party
Designer Julie Schuster used a palette of brilliant yellows, oranges, and greens against the backdrop of oak cabinetry in order to create a “Tuscan Garden Party” right in the center of Bilotta’s showroom. The warm and elegant environment draws you in and makes you want to “stay a while”.
Garden of Versailles
When you step into Rayman Boozer‘s vignette, you feel as though you are entering into an elegant garden party. Rayman was inspired by the gardens of Versailles as he brought his kitchen to life. Bright pops of color, real moss placemats, delicate hanging ivy, gifts wrapped in colorful polka dots and bows, Royal Limoges “Paradis” floral patterned place settings, and hand-etched crystal painted in 24 karat gold by Arte Italica, all accented by brilliantly colorful butterflies.
Fall Delights
Designer Jennifer Flanders was “inspired by everything fall”. She wanted to create an environment that spoke to “Getting Ready” for a gathering of loved ones. Jennifer’s display features warm tones of oranges and pinks, golds and yellows against the backdrop of white and walnut cabinetry. As a contrast she used black and white place settings by Royal Crown Derby, and dramatic and stylish Black Cut crystal glassware by Waterford Crystal.
Contemporary Elegance
Asler Valero Interior Design LLC turned Bilotta’s contemporary Artcraft kitchen island into an elegant dining table. He brilliantly displayed table settings and crystal goblets, both in shades of bold greens, majestic blues, and pops of gold, atop the stainless steel counter with an intricately crocheted tablecloth – a table set for a king!
