Luxury kitchen recycling lands in Long Island! Renovation Angel is awarding a $25,000 grant to our featured outreach – Timothy Hill Children’s Ranch in Riverhead, NY. The grant will be presented at the Designers + Builders Alliance of Long Island’s ‘Alliance Talks’ event at the Sub-Zero and Wolf Showroom in Roslyn Heights, NY on Monday, July 13, 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Renovation Angel, a nonprofit organization founded by Steve Feldman in 2005, recycles luxury pre-owned kitchens and renovation items to fulfill our mission: creating jobs, protecting the earth, and supporting high quality non-profit outreach programs like Timothy Hill Children’s Ranch. Each year, we feature one non-profit organization that focuses on youth at risk, addiction recovery, job creation, and/or social entrepreneurship http://www.renovationangel.com/about-us/.
Timothy Hill Children’s Ranch (THCR) is Renovation Angel’s featured outreach in 2015. THCR is a 70-acre farm located in Riverhead, NY which has provided a safe haven to hundreds of youth at risk since its inception in 1980. Today, THCR provides a safe haven to children and families in crisis by offering services such as an adventure-based program, a counseling center, and a vocational program http://www.timothyhillranch.org/THCR/Home.html.
The Designers + Builders Alliance of Long Island, presenter of the July 13 event, is an innovative 501(c)(3) nonprofit bringing together architects, builders, contractors, interior designers, and other high-end residential professionals to enjoy upscale activities while also promoting and supporting worthy, local causes http://www.dbaofli.org/
Sub-Zero and Wolf have partnered with Renovation Angel to raise awareness of kitchen recycling as a best practice. By recycling your high-end kitchen at the time of remodel, you will receive a valuable tax deduction while supporting high quality non-profit organizations, and you’ll have an opportunity to keep your used product from contributing to landfill waste. And when you remove and recycle your used appliances, you have the opportunity to replace them with sustainable ones http://www.subzero-wolf.com/.
